Skunk Paper Animal Craft

This cute skunk craft is easy for preschoolers and elementary school students to make. We designed the craft for Valentine's Day, with the skunk hugging a 3D heart, but you can leave the heart off the project and make the animal any time of the year.

You can also have children complete a writing prompt about skunks and glue it onto the skunk in the heart's place.

Included in this printable craft template pack:

Children cut out the pieces from the template and glue them together to create the animal. A 3D heart template is also included with instructions for assembling it and gluing it on the animal to look like it is holding the heart.

For younger children, you can leave out the 3D heart and have them glue one single heart on their animal. If you choose this option, a note or message can be written on the inside of the heart.

This cute animal craft is great for hanging on a classroom bulletin board or art wall.
